New look for Netjam.com ...

After 10 years of globetrotting I finally called it quits. I worked about 25 years for same company but the last decade was brutal as far as traveling goes. My last trip had me leave from San Francisco then to Chicago, Stockholm Sweden, Austria, China, Japan then back to San Francisco. Not even funny.

I'll probably be changing the look of this site more frequently since I've started using Dreamweaver templates. I just add the custom menus and graphics to give a different look each time.

One of my latest kicks in hardware is the Apple's iPOD MP3/Video player. When I first purchased mine I filled it up with mostly music. Since then, I mostly use it to listen to the various PodCast shows that I subscribe too. If you not familiar with the Podcasting you can get more info at Podcast Alley, they have a ranking system that highlights the Top Ten shows.

One of the driving reasons for me creating netjam.com was so that I had a place to post and update the various modifications I've done to my VTX1800 Retro. I re-organized it so that the links are more easier to understand and navigate. The content is mostly geared towards the Retro owners but C, F & N's can also benefit.

I've recently upgraded my digital camera to a Canon 50D mostly for the auto bracketing during exposures and I wanted to get into a true DSLR camera.

I've setup a digital online gallery to post some of my photos. I've used Adobe Photoshop extensively. Check out ClubPhoto.

One of my favorite netjam sections is Studio 17. This is my home studio that I get to sit down and relax, creating music with no timeline or commitments. It's the ultimate situation to be creative. The tools are all there, just need to get the groove going and hit the RECORD button.

The Tascam US-122 is the latest addition to my portable audio studio. I take this along with me when I have my music / instrument tracks already laid out and need to record vocals. Works great when used with a Powerbook and Cubase or Digital Performer..

For the past couple of years I've been using a Canon Optura 300 for all my DV recordings. It worked out for the quick convenient point and shoot videos.

Recently I've had the need to create promo footage for a soon to be released motorcycle product. I had to step up the quality and capability of the video source. So i picked up the Canon XL2 Series DV Camera. Since my distribution model will target SD DV users, I chose not to go HD at this point (Sony's new HD-FX1 was real close!). I'm still using Final Cut Pro 5.0 as my NLE system. The motorcycle product promo will be released early part of 2006....

Below are my motorcycles, for cruising and having some street fun it's the VTX1800 Retro and Roadking for touring and commuting to work I ride the GL1800 Goldwing. The Retro has gone through a major rear end change, check out the build link.

The new addition to the stable...

A totally different look for the VTX1800 Retro
