I'm sure a few of you have installed saddlebags and third party exhaust systems. I bet you didn't expect the "BMW" way up in the air bag look! The brackets below were designed and machined by "Wayde" a fellow X-Rider. He hangs out at Cal X-Riders.

These brackets were designed for the Honda brand mounting hardware and saddlebags.

 
 
With the everything stock the bags looked proportional and at a nice height level. Note I removed the rear passenger seat.
 
 
I installed the new Jardine Drags 1717-17 California series. What became a cosmetic eyesore was the gap between the upper pipe and the bottom of the saddlebag.

At the time Wayde happened to be over helping me install the HPP unit. He took a look and said, "I can fix that". A couple of days later...

 
 
Now were talking! The brackets moved my saddlebags lower approximately 3" and back about .5". Now I don't have that huge gap anymore. In fact you can now see more chrome from shocks, more fender etc. A big cosmetic improvement
