If you tried to install Easy Bracket onto the Honda Line Saddle bags you probably realized that their is a "plastic contoured speed bump" at the optimum mounting section.

You can either add standoffs to push the bag away from the speed bump or just get rid of it completely. I chose to get rid of the bump so the saddlebags wouldn't stick out further than they already did.

Using a cutting tool on a Dremel I cut both bumps out. Looking back, I could have kept the upper bump intact and just "slit" below it to slide in the plastic mounting board.
I used a piece of ABS Plastic (purchased at Tap Plastics) for my mount backing. This plastic won't crack and provided strong support.

Make sure do the exhaust side bag first. Set the height and angle you want then drill the holes. I would actually mount this side first completely then do the other side. Hopefully you can have someone help you out letting you know if your even on both sides. So...

Install muffler side first, then use as reference for other side...

Leave plenty of room for passenger pegs to work comfortably!

I put 1/4" plastic standoffs under each of the 4 Easy Bracket mounting bolts. This was needed to I could turn the key lock into the release position.

May not have been the most elegant solution but it made through my last 1000+ coast ride and is sturdy as a rock!

Good luck :)
